Unable to channel up/down NPVR 2.2.6

Help

Going potty over this. It was fine but due to excess CPU use (suspect through using Tight VNC) I decided to do a clean install of Vista.

Have installed the new version of NPVR and done the necessary amendments to recognise analog and DVB-T for Hauppauge HVR 1300.

Since doing this I cannot get a smooth channel change - it freezes up NPVR and then when able to do so it responds wth "Tuner for Live TV now unavailable!.
The only workaround I have fathomed is using the channel list, select channel, revert ack to main menu before selecting the next channel.

Is there a way to overcome this and reach normality?

I have since acquired Medion/Creatix CTX953 V1 PCI card and installed this. I now have 2 sets of Tuners DVB-T/Analog on Vista. PC is single core AMD Sempron 1.8GH.

Rather than pester the NPVR-universe I did try sourcing the answer in wiki and the community but to no avail - hope someone can help!!

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the npvr.log/nrecord.log and I'll take a look.

I suspect it's to do with the decoder you're using. Have you tried other decoders?

Try the decoder you've already got on your machine before you go looking for other decoders.

Microsoft MPEG-2 Video Decoder
Thats it that I can choose from

From those, the only one worth trying is probably the Microsoft MPEG-2 Video Decoder.

You'll also need to do the audio decoders though.

guess what
still no luck

works but fail on channel change
