'Object reference not set' error when trying to schedule recordings from PC clients.

Sorry if this has been dealt with elsewhere, but my searches didn't turn anything up.

I have several Win 7 x64 clients, they are working well except that I can't schedule recordings from them.
When I try I get the following exception:

I'm pretty sure I've installed all the prerequisites etc.
Any ideas what's going wrong?

Unfortunately there is a real annoyance with tuner plugins and you have to have the plugin installed on clients too even when the device isn't used. Just copy the NetworkRecorder folder as is onto the clients, it must have the same NetworkRecorder.xml file. I am planning to use the host NetworkRecorder.xml file I just haven't done that yet.
