Looks like i found the problem:
How is that possible? I installed NPVR to E:\NPVR not in to NPVR1 - how can i change it? EDIT: I changed it in registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\NPVR Recording Service And it strats now. Well, that a really strange. Why it was not installed correctly durning NPVR reinstall?

Hi.
I just return home just to found i got 2 falied recordings: ("rec. service was not running'') So, i checked the LOGs and i found that first recording (re-play) was recodred as it should and it is OK (???), but NPVR report "failed". Code: 2011-09-17 13:31:46.390 [DEBUG][4] Resuming... But the second one is empty (nothing was recorded): Code: 2011-09-17 17:37:46.468 [DEBUG][4] Resuming... Acording the event wiever, rec.service was running, no errors at all. Ideas?

hoborg Wrote:No one hit the same issue?Yes, some others have had the same too. It relates to the device not stopping when asked to. We're not sure why it can happen to a small subset of users and I've never been able to reproduce it here. The problem used to also occurred in GBPVR, which is entirely different code, so it makes me think it's something directshow related, rather that application bug.
