What structure would you prefer to see?

At the end of the day, if no one is happy, I'll just put it back to how it was. I dont use the plugins forum myself, so I dont that concerned with what it looks like in there. I'd prefer the layout to be whatever the plugin developers prefer (not what steeb prefers Big Grin)

My DVB-T Radio forum can be permanently removed from the current add-ons root leaving it just in the legacy sub-forum. I had ideas to redevelop for npvr but nobody has been shouting and I think WebRadio covers 'TV radio' for npvr.

Martin, but you are always against any documention change? Yet you constantly deliver amongst the best enhancements available for NextPVR. You need a young padawan to help you Big Grin

Thats where it currently is. Unfortunately the vbulletin software seems behave differently when you go to a third subforum depth. When you're in the 'add-ons' forum it's showing all the nested sub forums, rather than just showing them when you click on 'GBPVR Legacy'.

Absolutely, this is not about steeb's likes. This should be a general consensus. But also what users like as well as dev's! Nothing to do with me at all.

cheers sub

Are you sure? There's an icon next to all of the sub-forums in 'Add-ons' which suggests that they're 'branched' for want of a better word. Is it possible the move hasn't been committed yet? The only reason I say that is digitalspy use vBulletin and have sub-forums deeper than 3 levels which don't show contents of other sub-forums.

Not necessarily unless you're updating plain text - links to things continue to work as vBulletin uses PHP with post/thread/forum ids. Example, I just found my old gbpvr wiki page for DVB-T Radio and clicked on the link 'where it's discussed'. It took me to the forum in the GB-PVR (Legacy) sub-forum.

I know ....

But you once told me I was a dinosaur Big Grin

For the record (and I will only say this once for fear of embarassing myself) I give you a big virtual hug.

Ahemm, blame that on the friendly NextPVR forum that sub has built up......

Now back to business.

Can you work with me on these potential changes? I wish you could!

Yes, ok mine are point to Legacy too, but the main forum just threads also point back to Legacy too so in the end this just created two links to the same forums.
