Hi there,

Like many of you I use GBPVR all the time and find it to be an excellent product with support that is beyond 9/10 pay products I have encountered.

Considering the author of this product does not specifily charge for it, but instead has a donation option, i think that support of this quality is pretty amazing Smile

One thing has disturbed me recently, 99% percent of the people on this board show sub the appreciation deserved, however there has been an alarming amount of demand/totally rude posts in recent days, where it seems some users of the product think that they should be entitled to 24/7 support for a free product!

I know this does not apply at all to 99% of the people who will read this, but for the 1% that it does apply too, a little respect and appreciation for the author would go a long way.

here here, and we all know the best way to show our support DONATE.

Sub takes this way more seriously than any hobby and deserves a donation from ever regular user, just think a few quid each and we can keep him happy in gadgets and toys for ages.

Thanks for the reminder Smile
Hit the Donate button (top right on this, or any other, page).
Sub takes PayPal too!!!

Note to sub: put a paypal direct link up there beside the MC/Visa logo!

I think this is one of the big "problems" with these kind of forums (by that I mean forum boards, chats, email... anything written, perhaps). Even when people don't *mean* to be rude or inconsiderate, it's *so* easy to take a wrong turn when writing. One missing word, or one word too many, and a sentence can get a completely different meaning.

I guess there may be several reasons for this. One thing that jumps to mind is that "these kind of forums" tend to be of the fast kind; you want to get your thougths and ideas out there quickly. Another one is that people have different levels of command of the English language, and it can be hard to put every nuance of your thoughts down in words.

Just my 5 cents. People aren't always as rude as they sound. But sometimes they might be, I suppose :-)

hmm... i do not have a paypal account anymore... paypal decided to lock my account (seems i used it to infrequently or something).
well, ok... i really used it just a few times (e.g. for ebay or something)...

what bugs me is that they kept the money which was on my account (as stated somewhere in their agb, they actually can do keep your money without an explanation).

so i will definitely never use their service again.

i do not own a credit card, too (yes, in switzerland you actually _can_ live without a cc *g*), but i really would like to donate!

so, i can send cash (which i don't really want to) by mail or do a bank transfer.

sub: is it possible to send you some money via bank transfer? for this, i would need an account-nr, the swift/iban number of your bank and a name *g*

Just open another paypal account. You don't need a credit card, and you don't need to put money in it. You just use it to transfer money from your bank account, directly to sub's account.

You didn't have to put money in the account. You can simply use it as a method of getting money from your account to his, but whatever works. Smile
I'm sure sub is thankful for every cent.
