HDHOMERUN PRIME and NEXTPVR

I have configured the device for HDHOMERUN PRIME in NEXTPVR. But I get a black screen and no sound when I tune a channel.

Also after scanning for channels, I press OK and NEXTPVR hangs.

Yep, you'll need to post logs.

Missing audio/video is probably either audio/video decoders not set, or you firewall is not letting network traffic from the HDHomeRun Prime communicate with nrecord.exe (so you'd need to add a firewall exception for this).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure your problem is firewall related. You need to enure network traffic can get to nrecord.exe.

I found the problem was that I had three NIC identified in the log and one of them was the Microsoft Loopback adapter, which I had to install for my oracle installation. Once I had it disabled, NEXTPVR is working just fine.

Do you know why I'm seeing all these in my tuner list on my client side, I change this over from client to non-client so I can use my new HDHR Prime but getting a .net error when I try to configure the network tuner in my list. It looks like we don't need the plug-in that is showed on the wiki page as the tuner are picked up on the network by default and I have 4 Network Recorders with the plug-in. Any help/info as how I should handle this would be great

You really only need NetworkRecorder if you want to access digital cable tuner's using SageDCT. Unfortuntely NPVR doesn't provide a way to remove them once they are added. You can remove the plugin and remove them from the NPVR.db3 table or if you PM me I can do this.

I think Sub screwed up a bit in 2.2.6 and doubled up all HDHR devices with two tuning modes. It's definitely confusing.

Not sure someone could walk me through the process.

But in my devices I see listed HDHR/ATCS/QAM devices. I selected the HDHR ones, but am not seeing video or audio when selecting a channel.
