This is my npvr freesat only .ini. I put the ones I want it to scan at the top of the list so I dont have to wait for a full scan:

When I record programmes from C4 HD from Freesat and edit out the adverts using Videoredo and then replay via my Popcorn A110 (mapped drive and USB stick) the picture halts at the cut points and I have to stop and restart the files from the bookmark.

I also have a major problem streaming recordings to my Sony bedroom TV using Serviio and WMP as there is no picture only sound. The guys at VRD have anaylsed some of the C4 HD recordings and have reported that there is some unusual code in the broadcasted file. (sorry dot really understand the technical jargon). If I remux the complete file which takes hours the problem is resolved. It has been reported by another UK VRD user that he has not experienced this problemon Freeview HD.

Has anyone else in the UK experiencing this problem ??, perhaps it is a remnant of the period when C4HD was encryted on Sky ??

[You might be better off starting a new thread than resurrecting your old thread related to channel scanning.]

try remuxing the files using the trial version of TSDoctor and see if that helps. It is fast and seems to do a good job.
I think Sub or others would need to understand what this "unusual code" is before they could comment. (I don;t have a sat so I have no idea what this might be)
