channel not found

Using tsreader, it looks like 27 is as strong or stronger then the others. Attached is what it looks like.
Not sure what I'm looking for but a long green line seems good to me!

The long green line is just showing that particular PID (program identifier) contains data and it's long because it's carrying the lion's share (it's the video elementary stream PID).

I can do European DVB stuff but I'm not familiar with ATSC and the various table abbreviations (STT, MGT etc) don't mean anything to me. The only one familiar is PMT (Program Map Table) which might be worth a further look as johnsonx42 mentioned.

I find it curious that the problem channel has a time-stamp of 23rd March 1970 - not sure if that's relevant but it's a bit odd.

Over to sub as the best bet to solve this I think.

I'd probably need a sample of the broadcast stream to be able to check it here.

Since you said it's working in WinTV7, you could try this: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/forum/showthr...g-WinTV-v7. ie, set those settings then start WinTV watching live tv on the channel that doesnt show up in NextPVR, watch for about 45 seconds, then upload the tscapture-xxxx.ts to somewhere I can get it (like megaupload.com).

Use the "export" option in the TSReader menu and save to html. Check the boxes first but don't bother with thumbnail.

Do one for CBC and another from a channel that works for comparison.
