When I came home for lunch today, I got a big surprise seeing over 20 of these all over my front year. I wish I could have got a picture of them trying to fly.

Plus it is -20 C today.

Sweet. Ya gotta love having free, organic, free-range food wandering around in your yard! Smile

None of that white stuff down here though. It's currently 67F here...

Wild I assume. I live inside the city of Ottawa a couple of miles from Parliament Hill, were arguably turkeys do gather regularly but I assume these just happened by the other day.

Turkeys!

I thought Canada was where the Geese came from Wink

That's what we have for Christmas every year.

And talking of Canada would you believe that I could only find one supplier in the UK for this device in free standing frame:

all the others needed a door frame. Guess where the free standing one was designed and built...? Canada, that's it I'm emigrating, and going round Martin's place to look at his hobby room Wink  Sorry Martin does that sound a bit "stalkish"...

My parents still have all these pictures and talk about me and my "Jollie Jumper", in all my years this is the only other time I have heard of someone else in one.

If you stalk me, I will send out the troops and as you can see they aren't happy.

So where are the pics of you in your "Jolly Jumper" Wink

That's the one, it is still called the same....

Would you believe that there is only one retailer in the UK for that? It seems obvious to me.

Have already discussed emigrating to Canada with my wife, I did of course explain to her that I would have to stalk you to your hobby room Big Grin

So the Turkey troops may not be happy, but where are those Geese!

Is it that they were all eaten by Brits like me at Xmas

They're not here it's much too cold for them to be in Canada over the winter! They certainly are beautiful to see and hear in the spring and fall though.

I was going to say that's something we wouldn't see here in NZ, but strangely I did see turkeys on the side of the road today. Weird...
