Maybe, but it doesn't work on h264 files, which is most HD outside North America and also HD-PVR and Colossus captures.

I'm in Canada but yes there is always a but I have an HD-PVR and Colossus for captures Would ShowAnalyzer work as well? I have a copy and for wtv files it works better for what I have seen in the past. I may just give it a try and let ever one now!

Yes, I believe you can use ShowAnalyzer, as long as it produces an .edl file. Last I recall it didn't work on a recording in progress, but my last knowledge of it is many years ago.

Sorry I should have said I was useing The HD-PVR and Colossus as for recording in progress it clams to work for gbpvr so will it work for npvr? If yes do I still add a batch file and would it be the same? I have to add I love this app and the support for it so far. I think I found out how to set up fanart and metadata just need to get my remote up and running then I'm all set. The remote should be the easy part I'm just going to set it up as a keyboard so I should just have to map the srot cuts to the buttons on my remote and be done with it. I hope lol.

I use both the HD-PVR and the Colossus with comskip 0.80.42-donators, which supports parallel-processing. The 0.81.x-donators is very good, much faster, but only works in post-processing (so far).

Have you looked at the latest .026 donators? I haven't had the time yet.

I haven't had an opportunity either. Since 0.80.42-donators works well for me, keeping up with the development version hasn't been a priority.

Since I was setting up a new box, I got the latest donators.. Couldn't get it to work in parallelprocessing at all. I logged the output, it starts, doesn't find any commercials, and quits.

Its version 81.31.

Guess I'll just put it into PostProcessing for now.

If you need the donators version (for H.264 support), version 0.80.42 does do parallel processing.

Thanks for pointing this out. I recently purchased a Colossus and I was having trouble figuring out how to fix the parallel processing problem.
