It could be, depending on how aggressive your firewall is, Windows firewall will typically allow lan sharing.. You might need to disable 128 bit SMB, or Windows Live if enabled.

I went looking for help on some other message boards and found this utility Windows Share Manager. Downloaded it and did with it what was suggested, and now when I go into Network Share > browse > WORKGROUP > DAD-PC, I see four shares including mvpmc.

What do I need to do next?

After install the mpvmc share, select it as the source and then go to the document icon, click on NPVR.html and the load the first option. If that fails, (i'm not sure exactly where we are now) do the syntax check again and post it.

Did as you instructed. When I click on NPVR.html and then NPVR, the PCH reboots.

Here's an updated syntax check:

mvpmc C:\mvpmc

Checking GB-PVR.html links
C:\mvpmc \GB-PVR.html not found

<a href="http://localhost.drives:8883/USB_DRIVE_A-1/mvpmc/usb_a.cgi">N-PVR via USB</a>

I'm guessing that config.xml isn't up-to-date yet, but for that check did you add the IP of the PCH?

Are you saying I have to edit the IP of the PCH in the config.xml file directly? If so, I'm not sure where to look. I don't see any existing tag for IP.

No I wanted you to input the IP of your PCH in the NMT Synax check program like you did the first time.
