Heuppage PVR150 Remote control

Im new to HTPC, and would like to try GBPVR. If I buy Heuppage PVR150, will the remote control be able to control the menu on GBPVR also? Im also planning to add some hotkeys on the remote for checking my mail on the TV..will that work?

yes, you will be able to control gbpvr with the hauppauge remote.
gbpvr adds some entries to the \windows\irremote.ini file - the same place you will add your own shortcuts. btw: a lot of plugins exists for gbpvr doing all sort of stuff. e.g. an email plugin, letting you check your emails on the tv with gbpvr (http://www.bladerhq.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...CheckEmail)
