NextPVR 2.3.6 on Windows 2008 Server R2 (64bit)

Hi,

I have installed NextPVR on a Windows 2008 Server R2 machine.
My capturing/ recording device (TVCard) is showing correctly in the device manager, but I can not see or setup them on the settings in NextPVR (tab devices).
Could you please advise me?

Any help will be appreciated.

What device exactly?

View the Settings->Devices screen, then post the npvr.log and I'll take a look.

My device is a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-2200.

In that logs, it looks like they should already show up for DVB-T in the Settings->Devices screen.

I see only an IPTV device in the settings\devices of NextPVR.
The device have two analog and DVB-T tunners onboard, I want to use the two analog.

If you want to use the analog part of them, you must install Hauppauge SoftPVR, as NPVR needs it to be able to record from analog tuners.
But the DVB-T side of them should show up in the devices list.

I rechecked the logs and see they're not showing up because the devices dont claim to support any tuner modulations. I'm pretty sure this is down to the BDA components being missing on Windows 2008 Server. I remember seeing posts in the past where other Server users have installed these components, but I dont remember the details.

I have this post bookmarked http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post412163 Hvannieu, following the link it is interesting to see your problems go back to 2009 and GB-PVR. Maybe it's time to use an O/S that officially supports your cards?

I whould hope that there was a sollution to get NextPVR running on 2008R2. At home I have one machine which is running most of the time and I would be very nice it can also run NextPVR.
I will try your suggestions, hopefully/ maybe there is a way to get it work. I'll let you know.
