I've done a bit of looking, but there is a good chance I missed the answers to the question I have. If so, please just point me in the right direction. I am using NPVR with the XBMC addon and NEWA. I am not using the NPVR GUI.

1. How do it set up a favorite or season pass to a specific series? I think I've figured it out in NEWA, but how does one do it in XBMC?
2. In XBMC searches in "Live TV" always result in no results? Is this an add-on or XBMC issue? Can anyone get results from this search?
3. I've setup a recurring recording in NEWA. How do I manage these in XBMC?
4. How do I disable or hide channels in the NEWA guide?

To be honest, the PVR aspects of the XBMC UI are still pretty primitive, and very much a work in progress. When it comes to recurring recordings, and you cant really create/update these in XBMC. There is the beginnings of it, but its not there yet. For now you need to create/update these outside of XBMC using either NEWA or NextPVR.

I would say all of those features are implemented in my X-NEWA addon for XBMC. I haven't been bringing it up to avoid confusion, but perhaps now is the time, since it does add value to what XBMC PVR can do.

from the little I've seen so far, I can certainly imagine if I went the XBMC route I'd use both the NextPVR and X-NEWA add-ons to get complete functionality.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct

Where is this X-NEWA addon. I've looked for it, but came up empty. Admitidly, I did not look too hard as I was still figuring out what the heck NEWA was when I first looked.

It's not publicly available at this point. X-NEWA is to NEWA web services what LehighBri and your addon plugin.video.sagetv is to sagex-api. I am hoping we can eventually collaborate.

Unfortunately the GPL and closed betas makes that a challenge. http://lwn.net/Articles/10264/

No worries. I'd be happy to play around and test it when it becomes appropriate.
