I've recently installed your awesome program, but am having some problems with it. During the auto tune it skips over my very first channel. It's channel 2 and that would be CTV (canadian television). The EPG I've pulled from zap2it is working fine but when I change to channel 2 it is all static. I've not gone through the rest of the channels to see which others are doing this. I noticed it's also happening when I used Mediaportal as well. But it works fine with the bundled WinTV2000 from the Hauppauge card. I'm using WinXP (all updates), Hauppauge 150MCE and latest drivers from Hauppauge website. Please help I don't want to abbandon your software, it seems great!

If you know the frequency the channel is transmitted on, then type this number in the capture source settings next to this channel.

Do you know of any apps that can get the proper frequency of channels?

Both Shaw and Rogers in Canada will tell you the frequency of any channel. Just phone tech support.
It's also listed on the web somewhere, all the frequencies used in Canada, but I've lost the link. Try a google.
You can never have enough tuners!

Quote:I've notice that, but if I click cancel and restart the scan it picks up the first channel. It's only missing the first time you do a scan in one execution of 'Config'
Thats unrelated. You're talking about DVB scanning, wheras is using an analog PVR150. There is no analog channel scanning built into config.exe

I ran a 3rd party program called christv. It's showing me the channel requency is 55250 khz or 55.25 mhz. But I am a little confused as to where I enter in the frequency. When I open the config tab, go to capture sources, hightliht it and click edit. Then I have channel name, enabled, and source channel. When I enter in 55250 as the source it screws up.

ok, I can tune it in, but the channel is gone from the Guide and the only way I can get to it is by changing channels. How can I leave it as channel 2, but have it tuned to that frequency?

Just set it to channel 2 on the main 'channels' tab of the config app.
