Sigma hardware device port?

I am hoping that the announced XBMC for the Sigma Design SMP8656 will be the general PVR+extender solution that doesn't involve WMC people have been looking for.

I did a search on this and it was announced over a year ago. Anyone know when we might start to see some of these devices?

Looks good but unfortunately I didn't hear any time-frame when retail devices might be available.

I think I heard in that video, it was in beta in SF and that would have been a month ago. The Ceton announcement disappointment makes this even more important and worth waiting for.

I was also very disappointed in the Echo news but I'm still holding out (slim) hope that they can deliver on some playback features that will make it usable for me.
