I rang element14 and they've assured me I'll be receiving the new 512MB model. Yay!

left live tv on last night to see if it would still work in the morning, 8 hours later it was still working, yay.

however i have an issue with changing channels during live tv, sometimes (most times) when switching it goes a blank screen, says "paused" and looks to be buffering, but never actually plays, i have to stop the tv and restart the channel.

Got my Codec's Now waiting on Sam to get 512M support into RaspBMC. (He has to recompile the kernel)

Hopefully that will stop XBMC from crashing during EPG update.

Mind arrived today. I'm probably going to be too busy to play over the next couple of days, but I have confirmed its a 512MB part.

Anyone care to point me at a decent 'getting started' guide? I'm mainly interested in getting one of the new nightly XBMC builds up and running.

Grrr. I received an email notice today that mine shipped. I checked online and what they are shipping is the stupid red case, my two devices ship at the end of November.

I installed openelec, this morning, via windows using this guide. http://www.squirrelhosting.co.uk/hosting...o.php?id=9
I used the latest image on the site referenced there, r12239
this is new enough that the npvr add on is included. I entered my ip address for my server and it populated the epg. I can browse channels but I don't have the mpeg codecs yet so nothing will play. Sorry about the poor formatting, typing on my phone sucks.
