I know the answer will probably be no but .............

Ok just got me a new Tablet Windows8
But i need on screen Buttons to stop and go back(esc) and maybe a pause/play would be nice
fast forward or rewind are not needed just touch the time line for those although i wouldnt say no if you wanted to add them also

Any Chance???????

The built in windows player doesnt seem to like TS files (probably need W8 pro)
Media player does play the ts Files but not the metro player
(ive wasted enough time trying to get it working and would rather use nextpvr anyway)

I'll put it on the list to investigate adding buttons.

Touch scroll doesn't work either on windows 8 so that would be nice also
And while I'm at it some up down arrows

Oh be good to have a setting to turn them off

It is a wish list Smile

If you get round to this Sub it being Optional would be a necessity.
I've spent a lot of time making my PC a home theater - "Attack of the Giant Buttons" is not on my must see list Big Grin
That is what I have always found annoying with PDVD and TMT3
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

IIRC those buttons were only displayed in the old GBPVR if there was mouse movement. Keyboard/remote commands did not cause them to display.

Until sub adds them back, you should be able to press and hold the screen which should activate the right click menu. I've not tested that though.

Do you have Media Center installed? Here is the list of containers/codecs supported in Metro: (AC3 is not included)

@ Martin Thanks for the info

tablet came with W8 (not pro)
the built in metro videos app didnt play ts no matter what decoders were installed
It came pre loaded with pdvd10 ts would play back in there fine (but as mentioned above has ugly buttons) great playback though

after spending 2 nights loading this that and the other trying to get it to work i sort of gave up

the next day decided to upgrade to win pro ($89 bit of a rip off but was over it)
Now the built in player plays Mpeg2 TS files Smile

SO if your buying windows8 Make sure you buy the PRO version

Why they sell a device with a app that is crippled I have no idea.
