Try this plugin version I compiled 11/21/12.
Make sure you have all the NextPVR 2.5.9 patches applied from the support thread.
Restart XBMC after installing for plugin to be recognized.
You can then go to the advanced tab in the plugin cofiguration to enable Live TV Timeshifting support.

Thanks for your response. I installed your new version of the pvr and am getting an error popup in xbmc saying

"Tuner No Longer Available"

The channel looks like its trying to play but blank with no sound and when I press stop I get an image from TV flash up then back to menu.

Windows clients are working well. Ill keep investigating to see if its something else in my config or network.

I must be missing something if others have their pis working ok.

Ive made sure all the r1 patches have been applied by downloading and copying them over again on the server. Tested win7 clients and need to add the later nshared.dll patch to stop the buffering. added the nshared.dll to both programs and web directories. Tested again with win7 clients and all appears to be working as it should. OK so win7 xbmc clients look good so there is my starting point.

Tested the pi again with the new pvr addon above and same error about the client not available and no picture or sound streaming.

Reverted back to the pvr addon that comes with raspbmc latest version and I get streaming again but more frequent lockups than before.

Any ideas??

I would first try over a wired connection first. If you have a large collection of media still being scanned it could be hogging your bandwidth. Also you can turn off epg updates during playback. Make sure your firewall is not blocking the pi. (is it in the same subnet as the win7 machines?) Restart the Recording Service. Make sure tuners are available.

I think it could be something that's changed in the xbmc player since the betas or even late alphas.

I just tried to play a .ts recording from the same channel and exactly the same thing happened.

I've reverted all the win7 clients back to alphas until I can find a beta version of xbmc for the pi that works.

Thanks for the help.

UPDATE
Still doesnt work after installing the below updates.

I installed the NextPVR client in to XBMC on openELEC (RPI) "XBMC NextPVR plugin", however cant tell if it actually overwrite the old one as it still says v1.0.1.0.

I installed the R1 update to the NextPVR server (other Windows XBMC connect ok) "Next PVR v2.5.9 R1"
Many Thanks
Ashley

The Version of XBMC v12 Beta one goesent show the Git build code. But it is working in RaspBMC.

So. On the patches, Install all patches esp #14 for time shift support. (all patches beyond R1 as well)

Also:
Once the plugin is installed, configure the IP address for the server.
Then enable LiveTV. (it will pop up a message that no plugins are enabled) Enable the NextPVR Plugin.

If the correct plugin is installed there should be an advanced setting tab in the plugin config that allows you to turn on time shift support.

On the RPi it seems to not respond to FF/RR but you can use the mouse to click on a point on the progress bar to jump around.
