Digital Cable?

I have been lurking on the forums for a while, and finally had an opportunity to see if I have found a WMC replacement. My goal is to have this run as a backend for XBMC. I got nextpvr working in xbmc, but I noticed that all of my digital cable channels are not available. When I added my HDHR, it found all 3 tuners, but each tuner only found 540 channels. My cable company doesn't start the digital channels until the 1000's.

I guess my question is does the nextpvr support digital cable channels in its current state? Or have I perhaps overlooked something?


I am running v. 2.5.9. I couldn't find my log files anywhere, so if they would be of use to the question please instruct me on how to find them (there was no log file/foler within my x86/NPVR folder).

All user files live in users\public\npvr if you're in Windows 7. xp it's documents and settings\all users\application settings\npvr (I think)

Logs are good. However the HDHR is a digital tuner so you are getting digital, 540 channels is more than analog would provide if those are all clear QAM you are very lucky. Your channel number in NextPVR won't be the same as in your cable EPG however so that mapping is up to you. Also XBMC will use its own numbering unless you tell it to use NextPVR's.
