I just installed my HDHomeRun Prime box. In the HDHomeRun Prime configuration NextPVR is selected as the main application. I can watch TV just fine from the HDHomeRun Quick TV application and can watch and record TV from Windows Media Center.
In NPVR under "Settings -> Devices" I have 9 entries, ATSC, QAM, and HDHR for tuners 0, 1, and 2. ATSC and QAM detect no channels during a scan, but HDHR detects 269 channels. In the same dialog the server name is set to the name of my computer which is "MAIN" and database share is set to "\\MAIN\Users\Public\NPVR" which is shared to everyone.
Under "Settings -> Misc" my buffer directory is set to C:\TV and when I try to watch live tv a file will be created in this directory, but it is always 0 bytes in size.
Under "Settings -> Recording" the default recording directory is set to "C:\Recorded TV". When I try to record a channel a file is created in that directory, but it is always 0 bytes in size.
Under "Settings -> Decoders" I have tried every combination of renders and decoders but I always get the same result, no video or audio for live or recorded tv.
I have been messing with this for 2 days now and I'm at a loss. Any direction would be appreciated.
