Hi all,
I'm made great progress with 2.5.9. I'm in the US and have directv (H20) feeding my Colossus card via HDMI for both video and audio. I use the hauppauge ir blaster to change channels. I'm on WinXP.
On the decoder screen I've got:
VMR9 custom
Default
Default
Disabled
Arcsoft video decoder
Disabled
AC3Filter
Disabled
Arcsoft Audio Decoder HD
Disabled
Checkmark - only use...
The only way I change channels is going back to the main TVGuide and choosing the show with the keyboard.
All of the channels work great (liveTV and recording) for both audio and video.
Here's the problem (live tv only, recordings work fine): I'm watching one channel and then I go back to the guide and choose a different channel. Sometimes this works fine and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the video stutters and there is no sound. If I go back to the guide and choose that channel again, everything works fine.
The way I figure it, the new channel uses a different mix of decoders vs. the prior channel and is initially causing a timing issue insofar as to when the "new graph" is "built". When I go back to the guide and re-choose the same channel, the timing issue is solved and the new channel plays fine.
Has anybody else seen this issue and is there a setting that I can adjust to solve this problem. I would rather not change any filters because after much monkeying, I've finally got the setup that works on every channel.
Thanks
