when i install GBPVR all the exes give me an error <program>.exe is not a valid win32 application (config, gbpvr exe

i have installed like 3 times and it wont work...

it will work for a while then all of a sudden stop working @#!@!!

That doesn't sound right.

Do you have the required Microsoft .net v1.1 runtime installed? or could the .net runtime installation be damaged in some way? This is the only thing I could think of that would make these applications seem like invalid executables.

Sorry - I've got no idea. It seems most likely that your machine has something on it that stops it running .net programs correctly.

What version of Windows are you running?

I've had exactly the same problem on a number of machines now.

It's now happening on a clean installation of XP.

Does anybody know if TightVNC or Sygate Personal Firewall could be causing the issue?

I'm using TightVNC (don't remember which version, though), and it works fine; I don't get the errors described.

My install has been doing the same thing as other's has, not a valid win32 app, but here's the catch on mine: it runs fine for a while until I reboot two times. weird. I uninstall and reinstall and it will work again... until I reboot twice.

I have added the GBPVR.exe to my startup folder to run in fullscreen mode.

I've tried some of the fixes mentioned here on other sections, deleting mbd files and run config: config file gives me same error. deleting mdb files and xml file and repair: repair finishes normally and I still get the same win32 error.

It's only when i do an uninstall and reinstall that it will work and then it only works until the 2nd reboot or shutdown.

I'm running WinXPPro w/sp2 all updates done.

Do you think that this might help anyone find the solution???

I dont believe there is anything wrong with GB-PVR. I suspect there is something broken with the .net v1.1 runtime installed on your machine.
