When you did a recording, did it end up with a valid file on disk?

If you can make a small recording available, I'll try playing it in NextPVR here to make sure there is nothing wrong with the recording.

Plays fine here with NextPVR. Looking at your logs again this is also a concern

If you have PDR video decoders on your system, try those. (They work for me under Vista 32-bit with GeForce 8500 GT.) I have the box checked at the bottom of Decoders window, but I don't know if that would be relevant to your problem.

I might be off base, but I know that AC3 filter works well with the MS video decoder, i.e., I use it. I'd try that rather than the Pinnacle and whatever else you have for audio decoders. You only need the AC3 decoder for US digital TV. You need the MPEG1 decoder for analog TV. You do not need the h.264 or E-AC3 for US broadcast TV. Sub's right. Get recordings playing first, then work on Live TV.

Agreed, AC3Filter is very likely the answer to your audio problems. However, I had live TV video before installing it.
