Thanks now it is behaving the way I expected but I will need babgvant's input. I can't explain why it isn't running vlc or ffmpeg for you.
I'll try to remux with ffmpeg on the fly next. Martin

with the VLC defaults it does run vlc and create the file and the file size increases but NPVR jams and xbmc stalls.

Also the new networkrecorder.dll stopped video all together with the VLC in SageDCT unchecked.

Ok I missunderstood, did you try simply increasing the delay to be much larger. Revert to the original registry and vlc.exe and a 7 second delay ricca1234 Wrote:Also the new networkrecorder.dll stopped video all together with the VLC in SageDCT unchecked. That's expected. Dont use that trial anymore. Martin

Ok. I will try that later tonight. Right now I moved the original dll back. So I can watch Suits.
Just to have it right: Put back the updated NetworkRecorder.dll update the delay to 7 seconds Try with VLC original settings

Yes that's correct.

With everything original VLC opens and XBMC starts spinning then says tuner no longer available and leaves the file growing.
