Some channels freeze after a couple frames

So I couldn't find specifically where it shows the flag, but in the QuickTV app from Silicon Dust if I tune to a basic channel it works. If I tune to, say ESPNHD, it seems to work but now video. But if I tune AMCHD it throws up an encrypted error and tells me to use WMC. Could I just have another issue with ESPNHD or do you still believe its a copy-once issue?

If you can view it in the quicktv app, then it'll be copy-freely and should be viewable in nextpvr. I'd normally ask for logs to check out your decoders, but I'm not well placed to look at logs at the moment (I'm away from home for a week with only my iphone)

I could have sworn there were logs attached to post #5 and the decoders looked OK to me. IIRC, he was using MS DTV/DVD for video (Win7 so should be ok) but I don't remember what he used for audio. I thought I specifically looked at that because it sounded like a decoder issue to me as well.

If logs are reposted, I (or someone else) can extract the relevant info and post it as text for you sub.

The Microsoft decoder is good on Vista and Win7, but no good on Win8.

Audio decoder or renderer may also be a factor, or the alternate osd setting Martin mentioned.
