Constant buffering Windows 8 x64 / NextPVR 2.5.9 / ATV2 with XBMC / HDHomeRun ATSC

I am getting constant buffering when trying to watch live tv or recorded programs through my ATV2. Hoping this is possible or can someone just tell me now that I'm wasting my time? I've spent several days trying different things so I am hoping that someone has an answer out there.

Is this HD channels? I'm sure I've ready that the ATV2 isn't powerful enough for playing HD MPEG2 video.

Yeah they would be OTA HD

Unfortunately from what I've read (on the XBMC forums) the hardware isn't up to playing that type of channel.

I expect you will be able to play them using the x-newa plugin's transcoding. I might do 720p but not 1080i

Martin's right, use X-NEWA with transcoding for 1080i channels...for aTV2 it's the way to go...

Thanks. I have managed to get X-NEWA installed but trying to figure out the VLC transcoding. Where do I find the web interface and are there any instructions on how to get it going? I downloaded NEWA.v1.31.zip thinking this was it but not sure what I need to do with it yet. Are there any instructions?
