Audio signals available but no picture

I have tried to set up PVR and at the moment I can receive live tv with audio signals but without picture. What might cause that?

Typically this means you haven't configured an appropriate video decoder for mpeg and/or h264video. It's always good to compress and upload logs with support questions.

I have set now set a decoder for mpeg, before it was "Disabled", but no picture, though.

The npvr.log contains

Error initialising Direct3D: SlimDX.Direct3D9.Direct3DX9NotFoundException: Direct3DX 9 was not found. Please install the latest DirectX end-user redistributable package from Microsoft. --->

You need to install all of the pre-reqs. It may seem mad to install an "old" version of DirectX but it will not undo the version that you have now.

Are you on Windows 8? If so, the 'Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder' no longer works on 3rd party apps like NextPVR and you'd need to use a different decoder

No, I am on Win 7, hope it still works there.

If you're getting audio, then it does sound like your problem is related to the video decoder. I'd try other decoders.

Yes, I installed this decoder like Graham said, now it works, thank you, is there a way to get the entire display / tv screen filled with the tv signal?
