Great idea. I don't know why someone didn't mention this earlier. If no one else has time to research this, I should have some time later on in the week.

A quick search revealed that this may be pretty simple. I got it using the full height, but I have not done any exhaustive testing. Perhaps someone else will have the time. Here is what needs to be changed...

• Edit the file "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\web\mobile\default.aspx" in notepad or another text editor. Change line 8 by removing the width parameter, so that the original line of

  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0"/>
  becomes
  
  Code:

  <meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, user-scalable=0"/>
• Save this file and restart NEWA to make sure it grabs the change.
  
• Remove the old home screen app from your iOS device, use Safari to browse to the mobile site, and add the page to your home screen.
  

Now when the web app launches, it should appear with the full height. Enjoy and let us know how it works out.

Hi guys....just trying to get iNEWA working but to no avail...

I am running the latest version of NEWA which is working perfectly, also I have X-NEWA working and transcoding video's perfectly to my aTV2's (thanks Martin)....

Just thought having iNEWA working would be great...I am getting the following error...any ideas? (The URL I am going to is: http:<ip-of-npvr-newa-server>:8866, which is getting redirected to http:<ip-of-npvr-newa-server>:8866/mobile)

My mobile search seems broken, I never get any search results using the mobile app on my iphone whereas the desktop one works OK, is there a way of sorting this?

Are you running the latest version? An earlier version had an issue where you were forced to select a genre, see post number 9 of this thread. This often resulted in incomplete or no search results.

Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong? I have the latest version of NEWA which includes iNEWA, NEWA and X-NEWA are working fine....why do I get the error message in the image I posted above when trying to http to it? Any help would be appreciated....thanks

Hi,

Can you please try to call the mobile Website (<ip>:8866/mobile) from a browser on your PC Running the Webserver. We will then See the error Message. Please Post this one back.

Indeed, there is a fix in the search in (where e.g. no results were displayed) in the latest version. If however the problem presists, could you then please post the search screen shot in iNewa and NEWA and the results in both. The interpretation of parameters might be different or maybe a certain search combonation does not work.
