Hi All
Below I have tried to describe in as much detail what I am trying to do and the issues I have come up against. I have not posted logs yet as I am not sure which ones you would need and what action I should capture in the logs. I should also point out that I have been dabbling with this set up for a few days and I seem to be two steps forward, one step back. I do feel though that this still has merit if I can iron out the kinks. Thanks in advance...

The Solution Requirement
- A whole home DVR system with remote client machines
- Ability to rip DVDs into media gallery for viewing on remote client machines around the house
- Ability to view DVDs directly on remote client machines around the house

The Problem(s)
First let me say what is working;
- Can view live Comcast digital channels I receive in the following applications;
[INDENT]- HD Homerun Quick TV on the server and any client machine I have installed the HD Homerun apps on
- XBMC on the server via;
[INDENT]- NextPVR add-on
- X-NEWA add-on

- XBMC on the remote client machines via;

- X-NEWA add-on although if there are no recordings I get an error stating âUnable to contact NPVR Server!â

- NEWA web page. Clicking on âView Liveâ on the channel number launches VLC in a webpage window but no audio or video is played. The status in VLC at the bottom says âIdlingâ

- I can get iNEWA on my iPhone and initiate recordings but I have not attempted to see if I can stream to a mobile device.
