I'm trying to set up a Ceton Infinitv 4 card with SageDCT and Network Recorder, Windows 8. I can't find a Network Recorder folder in Plugins. Do I create it? When I open the xml file with Notepad it doesn't have that curvy look to it - it is just one line - does that matter? Do I have to format it? Do I change the port to one given in SageDCT? Is the "step by step installation" in the wiki the same as the "installation" that follows? Those are some of my first questions.

Yes you need to create the NetworkRecorder folder in plugins,

- it's easier to edit with indenting you don't need it. I've attached a version that will look better

- definitely use one of the sagedct ports, later on you can add more.

- yes the step-by-step instruction duplicates the installation steps more clearly and also adds SageDCT info for Ceton users

Martin, Thanks for your lightening fast response. I extracted the NetworkRecorder.7z to the Network Recorder folder. What is the NetTarget.7z file for? When checking settings - devices in Nextpvr nothing is showing up. Sorry for the lame questions. Henry

If it doesn't show that is often a sign that the xml file is not formatted correctly. Compress and upload the logs and I will have a look. The folder name is NetworkRecorder without a space.

Martin, removing the space in the folder name helped. I now see 6 Network Recorder devices in Nextpvr. When I attempt to setup I get and error message. Hank

Your logs show the xml file is incorrect. Compress and upload it if you can't spot the error.

Try this, don't forget to stop the recording service before trying to add devices. If you want you can change the friendly name from HDHR to Ceton. Some people have reported they need to increase the delay to 3000 and even 5000 to make live tv play

I can add the devices. If I highlight the first one and click device setup and get the configuration form, what should I do next? Sorry to be such a PITA

If you haven't found an EPG source yet, I'd recommend you get a Schedules Direct trial http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...ulesDirect After that you can import the channels list,
