Crash loading EPG in settings 2.6.2

emptied EPG (force of habit).
update EPG
away it goes getting the xml data followed by grabbing from the DVB-T tuner.

During the DBV-T grab it crashed with an empty Windows "status" box. I close this and up pops the Windows "stopped working box (see screen grab below).

Ahhh - interesting.... Looking at the log, it may have died on 530000 which is an (the only) HD mux....

I can view teh HD channels. It looks like quality 0 is returned though

Hmmm. Going in some time later and running the same thing again without the initial EPG deletion and all is fine now. Bloody computers!

No, first time today. The system in question is not my main system and is the one where I try out the latest releases. It is also the only one with DVB-T2 at present.
If I get chance tomorrow I will restore my backup made just before the update and see if I can duplicate it again.

Was the tuner perhaps in use when the problem occurred? As Reddwarf would recall, there was recently a similar thread; but SailTV said emptying EPG first actually solved the problem!?

Just double checked and no recordings due anywhere near the time I was messing around. Last was yesterday and next is a couple of days away .

A slight edit to post #4 I said it was the only system with dvb-t - I really meant the only one with dvb-t2. although this doesn't make any different to the original post.

I tend to use this machine to serve imported shows as it runs on an HP microserver that is low power and 24/7 and doesn't have much, if any space for tuners for video cards. My NMT's can connect to this or the main machine (it requires WOL to wake it up, so is a bit slower).
