10 second recordings

Hi NPVR 2.6.2, windows 8, happauge hd pvr

for some reason lately i have been getting a lot of 10 second recordings.... the 10 seconds recordings are about 8MB in size and do contain 10 seconds of actual recording but for some reason the shows are not fully recording.

looking at the log the recordings do show to start and stop at the correct time but for some reason are only 10 seconds long.

I have attached the nrecord.log file.

the two shows (mickey mouse) both only recorded 10 seconds.

Is "Use out-of-process digital recording" ticked on? http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?....Recording Did you get a ndigitalhost log file? This should be the log file for the process within NextPVR that actually receives data from the tuner.

Does the blue light stay lit on your HDPVR? If, not then it sounds like your HDPVR has decided it doesn't have a signal lock and has stopped delivering data to NextPVR. If that's the case, I wonder if it doesn't like something about the SPDIF signal coming from your source.

"Use out-of-process digital recording" is ticked on, but i don't ever remember ticking it.... I don't see the ndigitalhost log file in public/npvr/logs directory.

the blue light some times goes on and sometimes doesn't turn on at all.... is that a SPDIF issue? should I go back to use LR audio?

this error is not constant, some shows will record no problems, some shows will falter.... not sure why though.

I'm guessing it is to do with SPDIF. It might be worth temporarily trying with left/right audio.

alright even using RCA (L/R Audio) it does the same thing, 8MB 10sec recording,

In the attached zip file, there is two mickey mouse recordings, one at 5:55am and one at 7:00am, the odd thing is i did change chn115 to RCA, but i guess in the logs it still shows as SPDIF (maybe i had to restart or something).

anyways 115 and 263 both SPDIF, 115 fials and 263 Succeeds..... Very Weird.

restarted npvr service... its now using rear RCA for recording, i will report back again if any issues i guess.
