Has anyone had anyluck creating a ratdvd plugin? Is anyone even working on this?

Thats right. Software playback via Overlay/VMR7/VMR9 only.

This is just reusing the ratDVD guy's playback components, which obviously dont support MVP, PVR350 or XCard.

Wow sub, your my hero!

So if we wanted to play ratDVD's on our TV would we need a PVR350? Also we should all write to hauppauge and ask them to incorporate ratDVD into the MediaMVP.

Huh? As I said above, ratDVD wont work with the PVR350 (or XCard or MVP).

I havn't looked at divx6 at all, so dont know whats involved. Is it more than just installing the appropriate divx 6 codec, or does it have some special features that would need special support.

i assume it requires a little more work than just installing a codec, but i have no idea, all i know is that it fully supports menus, multiple audio tracks, subtitles etc just like a dvd

They seem the sort of crowd that would require you to licen$e their SDK. They dont have any SDK available for public download on their website.
