I have the unlocked saf6 package installed but the cyberlink decoders are not showing up in npvr. Previously I had installed PDVD12 hoping the decoders would show up, but that didn't work either. Is there something that I am missing? On Win7

Thanx, Greg

When you run the installer for SAF6 after setting the unlocked key it goes on line and downloads the extra files required in a protected zip file (611.zip for the latest) For some reason - firewall permissions? - as it said it failed. You will need to run the installer again - twice.
Hoborgs site could have been down - hopefully it is feeling better now Big Grin
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

I turned firewall off and reinstalled, but same error message in log file...

Hoborgs web site is up, but wonder if a different address is used for the .zip file..

Hi.
If you have only two files in your SAF_LOG.7z, then you have broken windows environment variables.
To reproduce it - START, Run, type CMD here and hit enter. New CMD window apear. Type regedit.exe. It should start.
If not, environment variables are broken.

That was it. The path to the system32 folder was preceded with %SYSTEMROOT% instead of %SystemRoot%.. I did some research, edited the environment, and all is happy!

Many thanks Hoborg for your assistance.
