Do NPVR recordings show up in XBMC TV Shows library?

Quick question. I'm hoping to switch from SageTV to NPVR and use NPVR as my TV backend for live viewing and schedule recorder. Do the recordings created by NPVR show up in the native 'Tv Shows' library in XBMC or are they only available in the NPVR addon within XBMC?

Also, is the addon ready for daily use or is it still experimental? Is it pretty stable?

XBMC's PVR system only has the recordings listed in it's own recordings screen, and not TV Shows. You can probably get them to show up in the TV Shows addon by adding a video directory to where you keep your recordings on disk.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I guess I should have asked the question a bit differently. I've had problems trying to get SageTV to format the file names it uses to a format that XBMC likes so that it pulls metadata for the recordings. Does NPVR have any flexibility in terms of file naming? I think XBMC likes to have the season/episode number included.

The reason I ask is that I have some archived shows and some shows that I've recorded. I'd like a centralized place for them all so that the wife and kids don't have to look in multiple places. The meta data display that XBMC uses natively is also second-to-none in my opinion and would love to use it for all media.

NextPVR very rarely knows the season/episode numbers, so it can't record with filenames including these. You can use addon utilities like ImageGrabLite though, which will go online to try to try to find the season/episode numbers and rename your recordings though. It can be made to automatically do this for every recording.
