Hi, I've just set up NPVR on a Windows 7 box using a Ceton InfiniTV 4 USB tuner.

Everything seems to be working except it will often (but not always) freeze after a second or two when I change channels. Usually going up a channel and back will or exiting out of the live tv view and going back in resolves it.

Here are my NPVR and SageDCT logs.

Thanks in advance!!

Perhaps the tuning delay of 2000 is optimistic? Try with 4000

Also instead of LAV video maybe try the Microsoft DTV-DVD decoder it is pretty code for the mpeg2 video.

Thanks for the reply!

Are there any known issues with LAV? Does the MS codec provide a better picture?

It was just something to try. Purists will probably say LAV Video and madVR has the best picture especially with their projectors or thousands of $$$ of gear. I personally don't notice it in the real world.

Setting the tuning delay seems to have helped, thanks again!

Neither LAV nor madVR works well with npvr, the LAV video decoder has the nasty habit of freezing and if you use some of the audio processing functions of the audio decoder it will be VERY cpu demanding. The Cyberlink decoders is a very good alternative also.
