Not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought I'd start here as I know the NPVR community is always helpful
I recently bought a Hauppauge HVR 1700 to add to my system (in signature), as I want it to replace the PVR 150 so I can install more than 4GB RAM - due to a known issue with the 150.
However it's resulted in some bizarre behaviour in the PC. Because of the SSD the system normally boots and is free to use in about 30 seconds - now with the HVR 1700 in a PCIE slot it's taking about 3-5 minutes before it's usable. All I've done is plug the board into the slot and it seems to cripple the PC - CPU goes up to 100%.
I've never seen this before so not sure where to start - does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
