missing a channel, cant HDHR-3 picks it up but not NPVR

I made the 34.ini file and I still couldn't pick it up. However, was I supposed to scan only using the 34.ini or atsc.ini?

Use the dropdown and select the 34.ini. This will force it to only scan that frequency.

Martin, that did the trick. Awesome.
So my next 2 questions are:
why didn't it load it using the first main ini scan (even though it picked it up)? This fixed it, just want to be prepared for the future if this happened to another channel

How do you make an import channels xml (or another alternative) so that mapping with the mc2xml is easier. At the moment there are 96 channels found by NPVR and I will only want 33 of those. When i did this last week (i've completely reformatted my pc since), i had to scroll down the channels list and delete each individual one that i didn't want. Tried seeing if there's an easier alternative, but am coming up empty.

Yes. Under [CabType], 1=[Whatever name you want] and under [DVB], 0=[# of channels/frequencies in the list].

Then under [DVB], 1= to n= (where n is what you set in the 0=), just put [channel/frequency] followed by ",0,0".

You saw the example for a single channel; here is one for 5 channels:

Right, as whurlston showed that's what I do here to save scanning time. Even if all the channels are scanned you don't have to go through this trouble just to not include them in your NextPVR list, just untick the channels you don't want.

However if you have duplicates (or whatever caused this) om your own ini that won't fix the bug in NextPVR, that will have to wait until the next version.
