Hello,

I've Been using MS Media Center for years and just hate it. But, I've been trying to setup NPVR for hours. After reading what some other folks have gone through Media Center is looking better all the time. Here's the link

I went out to Hauppauge's website and they recommended you on the 2250 spec.

This is what I have to work with. I've been trying for hours to get this correct and no luck at all importing analog or bulk

Country: "United States"
Digital Cable provider: "Bright house Networks of Winter Park Florida"
My zip code : "32821"
Capture/TV Tuner: "Hauppauge 2250"
Computer: 4 MHz Desktop

I want to use MC2XML or anything else that will work

What I don't want to do is manually type, setup or change 115 channels only to find out something is screwed up. Knowing that regardless of where you are this setup is available to you. Can you please help?

Regards

Explain at which point you've got to and also post your logs. They're located in the logs folder in one of the following folders...
Code:
Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008: C:\Users\Public\NPVR
Windows XP, Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR
zip the whole folder and attach the zip file in a reply to this thread using "Manage Attachments" in the "Go Advanced" view.

Hi Robert, and welcome to the forum.

I believe most US users get their guide data from SchedulesDirect, for which NPVR has built-in support.

The service costs $25/year, but there should be a free trial so you can see if it works for you.

As bgowland said, please post your logs so we can make sure your tuner is set up correctly before getting started on the EPG issue.
