Don't really know how I should explain this but the function of the left+right arrows on the keyboard when having NPVR in Horizontal mode ("Preferred Style" in the settings menu) is really not behaving as expected.

First press to the right after starting NPVR does not register, continue moving right works fine but trying to move to the left NPVR continues another step to the right, but the next step to the left works fine again. Same behavior is also valid for moving to left and then trying to move to the right.

Vertical menu works perfectly.

Anyone else having this issue.

I just double checked this, and I'm not seeing the behavior you describe.

This is directly on NextPVR right? Not on a NMT or web client or any other special version of the interface?

No problem here. I realize that doesn't help you. I think something like this can happen if you don't have the DX9 runtime installed, or if you've got some other graphics related problem.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct

Yes, its directly on the NPVR, both NMT clients works just fine. As johnsonx42 is pointing out I also think this is related to the DX9 issue I am having (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...is-machine). Will try to reinstall my graphics drivers to see if that helps.

Is there anything special about your setting, like having animation disabled?

No, I have both tried a clean install as well as with my original DB and config.

Trying to fix the DX9 issue but have no idea what is wrong....

Latest try is to repair the .NET Framework Client Profile Maintenance.... see if that will help.... restarting Smile

Thanks whurlston Smile

What I really need help with is this http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...is-machine

I have tried to:

Reinstall the graphics drivers
Reinstall the webinstall of DirectX9C
Reinstall the June2010 installation program of DirectX9c
Reinstall NPVR 4 times

Unfortunatly I have no other graphic card to try but since this was working before I do not think this should be necessary.

I just posted there before seeing your last post. Unfortunately, I've never been able to solve the issue. I may try to dive into it a little more if I can find the time this week.

Thanks, I just reverted back to 2.6.2 and everything works as expected again. Must be something with .NET 4 and DirecX on my machine Sad

Let me know if you find something.
