Media Browser Integration

Only SOAP is slightly documented, that's normal for NextPVR plugins you learn as you go. You can give back some developer documentation on the wiki when you are finished if you'd like.

You probably should outline what you want to do. live tv, epg, schedule recordings, play recordings etc.

Yeah, there is pretty much no documentation. There examples of it use though, in the XBMC API etc. Thankfully it's a pretty straight forward API to use, and you'll come to grips with it quickly.

If get stuck, let us know and we'll quickly point you in the right direction.

A starting point is: https://github.com/opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-ad...extpvr.cpp, in the cPVRClientNextPVR::Connect() method, which shows how to initiate a session and login.

When i try to start a session with the following url http://192.168.1.170:8866/service?method...device=mb3
I get an error (see below), probably it's the wrong call?

So the only way is to provide xbmc to the "device"?
But then i get the same error....

No it's a arbitrary value that sub really doesn't do anything with yet, you don't need xbmc installed or anything like that.

For the 3.2.x release, I'll add more device definitions, and do more with them. As Martin said, for now, just set it to xbmc.

Now i get a session salt & sid back. But how do you get your MD5? Something with the IP adres? In combination with something else?
