I did the DirectX update and that made my UI too big to fit my screen and now its as if its zoomed in. Is there a fix for this?

I then did the Saf6 install and rebooted. Then I only had a blank screen on playing recordings. Had to switch my Video decoder and now I can see the video. Audio is still going out of sync the longer you watch the show. Same problem I started with.

New logs attached.

Have you gotten the unlocked version of SAF? send a private message to hoborg to get it. I think I've had sync problems with the locked version.

none of the logs you've posted show you using the decoders from SAF (neither locked nor unlocked), that's why I ask. make sure you set the decoders as shown in the SAF6 post.

Sorry about that, here are some updated logs with the correct codecs in use.

Well you have pretty much ruled out decoders as the cause. I would leave them just as they are in your latest NPVR.log. I'm completely puzzled, but do have a few questions:

If you allow a recording to play back without pausing or skipping, does the audio still become progressively more out of sync?
Do you have a client machine set up, and if so, do you have the same problem playing recordings on the client?
About drive F where Recorded Shows are stored: Is it a local or network drive?

[Edit] NRecord logs show you're using RCA cables. STB permitting, switching to SPDIF might conceivably help with this issue, I'm not sure.

If I play a recording and not skip or pause, the audio sync still gets progressively worse. I've been playing my shows in VLC, and making adjustments to the sync every two or three minutes so it is tolerable to watch.

I have some client computers with a drive mapped to this machine, and they experience the same problem.

F Drive is a local drive on my NextPVR machine.

I've been using RCA for years without issue, I was never able to get SPDIF to work for some reason.

Unfortunately you didn't upload your current NRecord.log file. It sure looks like you are recording SPDIF on some channels though otherwise NPVR would be asking for the AAC decoder. If you have trouble with SPDIF for years that is the decoder.

I seem to remember there was a problem between the Hauppauge HD PVR and NextPVR where it would show SPDIF, but you are actually connected via RCA. Maybe Zeb remembers this?

Something I just observed after watching a one hour show. With about three minutes left in the recording, the sound was garbled for a few seconds, then no sound at all for the remainder of the recording.

Not sure if this helps, but I thought I should mention it.
