Changing channel issue

Hi There,

My machine seems to have developed a bit of a weird issue. If you are watching live TV and you press guide and select a new channel the guide stays on the screen and you hear about 2 seconds of the new program then nothing, the picture never changes from the guide over the old program. If you press back then live TV the new program runs.

I've made a work around for it by using LMRemote to put a stop media before the guide calls up the guide itself. This way it reliably changes channel but it is not ideal.

I've also noticed that whatever channel you pick after initial wake from sleep or reboot it will just present a black screen. Go back and retry and second time it displays.

Anyone got any ideas about this? I suspect it is the CODECS but the only one I can find that works at all is LAV, so changing seems to be out of the question, unless there is a good commercial pack out there.

any suggestions would be good.

Oh BTW: the new drop down list for channels does the same thing. This also has another issue in that although it shows my channel group at the bottom left it still displays all channels.

I would also PM Hoborg for the unlocked SAF codec pack - the PDVD13 vid codec is the best for both HD & SD in the UK - LAV video doesn't work too well with NPVR ts files - works great with MP4, MKV etc. Use LAV Audio though.

Thanks Whurlston, found but was already unticked hence why I must have missed it looking for a checkbox first rather than the option!
