Channel Scanning not showing CATV

I checked the services folder its showing NXTPVR on my E:drive on the reinstall of the WinTV and Batch file I install all of them including nxtpvr on my C drive. But in the service properties it doesn't allow me to change it to the new location

You can change the location(s) by running Regedit.exe and changing it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NPVR or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NPVR.

To late after I figured out when I uninstalled nxtpvr and reinstalled it to my OS drive and moved it back to the E: drive now I can watch TV ! But the Batch I installed giving me analog channels still not working yet In device setup I see the Hauppauge card with Analog,QAM I manually added the 2 channels but they didn't work so I just now tried to scan and the Card will not allow the scan

Either your 'NPVR Recording Service' service isn't running, or you've got firewall software getting in the way of the communication.

If it's not running, like it's crashed, then hopefully the nrecord.log file would tell us why it has crashed.

I haven't changed my Firewall, It stopped working after I Reinstalled WinTV with the Batch file.

Well investigate the other option I gave you then. ie, bring up task manager, click the 'show processes from all users' button and check if the "nrecord.exe" process is running. If not, what happens when you go into the Windows Services control panel and try starting the 'NPVR Recording Service'. Does it give any error? Does it then show up in the task manager?

You can also try running "nrecord.exe RUN" from the command line to see if it gives you any error message.

When it was on my C drive in Windows Services it showed "OFF" so when I clicked it on it gave me an error. Now that I have it running on my E: drive im not bothering moving it back to C: since using the Remove tool didn't work with nxtpvr.

I got the Batch file working with Analog, I had to reboot the computer again so it would let me scan channels, And it did ! my channels 44,55 came in on channels 36 and 111 So now I have that working the only glitch is now they are showing up BLACK n WHITE Im going to reboot my cameras see if that helps

YEA !!! Got it all working ! Everything is now in color ! Thank you soooo much for the Batch file and all the help You guys are great !
