For discussion, the attached patch adds a dummy EPGEvent and the missing schd for recurring recordings that don't have EPG Events. Selected only recurring just returns recurring.

I'll take a look. I am not keen on returning dummy anything (overhead). If you recall I originally had the service returning all segments all the time and we decided that was a lot of extra overhead to move back and forth between the client and server if there was no value to the data.

I am not sure you can have a schedule without having an existing epgevent.... unless we are talking manual recordings..... is that what you are targeting?

it's not that i'm targeting manual recording, it's just that i happen to have a few as a result of setting some up within the next pvr ui during my testing.

Sub's xml call was for multiple channels, which makes more sense.

Primarily manual and imported records won't have the epg event or a complete epg event.

It's not really a dummy record since in many ways it is the master because of the flags

"HasSchedule": true,
"ScheduleIsRecurring": true

If those where at a higher level

My concern about the extra overhead was on all those rtn blocks

To me... mutli-channel would equate to the users Channel Group(s).....
