XBMC and the NextPVR client

I installed XBMC on a my laptop and configure the nextpvr plugin. I was connecting to the NextPvr but could not watch tv as it said no available tuner was found. It appeared the recording service for some reason had the tuner tied up. Stopped the recording service and now receive Nextpvr client connection failed and connection lost errors and I have re enabled the recording service. I can browse to port 8866 of my Nextpvr server no problem. I have disabled all the firewalls and even installed XBMC on my android tablet and receive the same errors. I do have the the XBMC &Touch clients enabled. I have taken the default password out and put it back. What am I missing?

Does NPVR work from the server directly without using the XBMC add-on? What about trying different channels?

Yeah, what he said - I'd check you can actually watch that channel in NextPVR itself.

Either way, reproduce the problem then post the logs and I'll check it out.

Yep works on the server itself no problem. Just the addon having issues

Did you apply the patches to 3.1.1? There could be an issue with the PIN in the original package.

Ok I installed the patches and it is working now. Thanks guys for the help.
