Mobile iNEWA Support Thread

I've rolled back to a HDD image of 2.6.2 until I have more time to investigate, but seems this isn't a unique fault. The fault I had with Scheduled Recordings tab is exactly as sheppy99 describes.

I'm not sure how I check iNEWA version. I'm just using whatever version 2.6.2 and 3.1.1 installers supply.

I have discovered that I need to delete all my cookies and temp files on my iphone everytime I logon otherwise I get the login screen, enter my username and password, and then it just sits there with a non working login button.
Is there anyway of just rolling back newa and inewa to the last stable version or have I got to nuke the lot and load again with an older version? The web interface works well on a PC but this mobile app is way too buggy to be usable for me!

In mobile NEWA I put 3 in the field KEEP#, but NextPVR continues to record al'infinity.
Days to record, every week

Only New i did not understand what it is.

I copied this over from the general NEWA thread since it should live here in iNEWA.

I have sent an e-mail to fjbpchristiaens to look into this.

Just tried the 12th Jan Build, and initially I could logon from my iphone until I logged on from the full web client, then I could no longer logon from the iphone and the mobile logon screen had much wider login fields than before - possibly a different logon screen? I then turned off wifi on my phone so it would have a different ip address than the desktop and it seemed to work most of the time.
Schedules recordings tab is still broken though.
I have taken a screen shot of both non working and working logon screens ;
The smaller fields (right pic) are on the working logon screen

Nothing has changed in iNEWA since the 1.34 release which was rolled into the 2.0 release of NEWA that went out on 9/29/2013. I am waiting to hear back from the developer on the issues. It is very possible something changed in your phone environment causing different behavior. Not really sure.

Is there an easy way of working out why the non working logon screen gets sent or making the non working screen work with the phone?
It feels like the logon button doesn't work on one of the screens.
I got the non working screen served for a while last night and then the working one started to appear, I was out and about and the desktop was off so nothing should have changed - very strange!
I'm using an iphone 5 with IOS 7.0.4 in case its relevant, I went straight from NPVR 2.5.9 to 3.1.1 and from inewa 1.28 to newa / inewa v2.10/2.11 so its possible that I missed when the problem arose. I use it on SBS2003 with ISA Server 2004 w/o caching in case that's relevant.

Out and about again tonight and I am presented with the non working logon screen again, can enter user and password as normal but logon button isn't a button, can click it but it behaves like ordinary text instead of a button

I remember having the same weird login screen issue, I think shortly after upgrading NPVR to 3.1.1. I did a fresh NEWA install according to the wiki procedure and the problem went away. Worth a shot, anyway!

Is anyone wth iOS 6 having an issue like this or is it only iOS 7?

Stop the npvr service.

Extract these two files into the web\ directory. It should overlay two files - logon.aspx and logon.aspx.cs

Restart npvr service.

Test.

Let me know how you make out.
