Bit more feedback for you:
Having used it successfully for several days now I just logged in on the desktop and then tried the phone from an icon rather than the browser favorite and I got the non working screen. Rebooted the phone and tried again from the icon and still didn't work, then rebooted again and tried it from the browser favorite and it worked.
So I think:
1)Non working logon from a shortcut on the home screen
2)Working from a favorite in the browser menu
Its a little weird as I've always used a shortcut on the home screen without issue which makes me wonder what has changed to stop it working - could it be the update from Next PVR V2.6 to V3 that has changed something with the logon process that has exposed an IOS bug?

Anything is possible. I would really like for people with iOS6 or lower to chime in if they are having this issue or not.

iOS 7 came out in September (same time the new release of NPVR and NEWA came out).....I am leaning that it is something with iOS.

Have you tried deleting and then recreating your home screen shortcut?

Ever since i updated to the latest NPVR i have been having issues. One of them is with the mobile tv guide. When i access the tv guide i get the following.

You probably have a bad install.... install the latest NEWA build following the instructions on the wiki....

Have you tried deleting and then recreating your home screen shortcut?

sheppy99 - can you (or anyone else having the login button issue via ipad/iPhone try the attached.

I had an email from fjbpchristiaens which jogged my memory on info I had to add into a file to support IE 11. What fjbpchristiaens provide was info on how .Net 4.0 has some issues identifying the iOS browser capabilities... and can actually be an itermitent problem depending on the order the page is loaded into the browser.

Stop the NPVR service.

Place this file in web\app_bowsers it will overly the existing file.

Start the NPVR service.

Give it a go...

Let me know.

What page are you trying to load? There is a setting to manage this.... but per the below it is defaulted to 4mb of data.....would almost seem as though you are trying serialize a file or something if what is being returned is over 4mb in size.

Default Setting: The maximum length of JSON strings. The default is 2097152 characters, which is equivalent to 4 MB of Unicode string data.

Only remaining problem is the non working scheduled recordings tab - symptoms are a spinning gear at the top of the screen.

I can not reproduce this one, I am testing with the latest NPVR/NEWA version... So maybe you could post your web.log on the moment you request the scheduled screen... Maybe I can see something. As said, the scheduled tab works fine for me. One more question: does the schedules tab work if you call it explicitely in Chrome from your PC?

I've just sent you & fjbpchristiaens a PM with links to a newly minted web.log and also npvr.db3
Curiously enough the scheduled tasks link works on chrome on my laptop whereas I can't even login on my desktop using chrome as the login button doesn't work
