XBMC Setup Issues

Hi all,

I have had a look at NextPVR and the standalone client works really well. I installed the XBMC plugin and it launches but I have a few issues. Probably easy to fix.

1) Subtitles are always on. There seems to be no intuative way to switch them off.
2) Signal is not as good as when you run it standalone
3) It frequently crashes XBMC, have other people expierienced poor reliability?
4) EPG looks terrible. Is there any way to download logos for channels etc. Also when I launch it I would like it to display with Timeline. Instead I get a now/Next

Subtitle settings are under Audio!! I had the same problem a few days ago but Google had the answer.

While playing a video click on screen with mouse which displays the "Now Playing screen

Click on "Audio Settings", centre icon, bottom right .

Unset "Enable subtitles"

Click on "Set as default for all videos"

2) Do you mean picture quality - XBMC uses it's own decoders - you may need to set up de-interlacing etc. to get best picture quality. What Codecs were you using in stand alone?
